台中縣台中縣老翁林忠（74歲）昨下午近4時，騎車行經清水鎮港埠路與三民路口時，不慎和張丁江（62歲）駕駛的大貨車發生擦撞，機車倒在一旁，老翁被捲入大貨車底，雙腳被輾過後卡在右後方兩個巨大車輪下（圖1），老翁雖受重傷但仍有意識，數度想爬起來呼救，但身體無法動彈。
失血過多不治
清水消防分隊與台中縣九一九救難協會獲報趕到現場，將老翁搬齣車外緊急送醫（圖2），但老翁右腿膝蓋以下遭輾粉碎殘缺、左小腿也骨摺，送醫後仍因失血過多休剋，延至晚間不治。警方初步研判是大貨車轉彎時有視綫死角，未注意到同樣轉彎的機車，但真正肇事原因仍待釐清。文˙圖╱王乙徹
