日本【張翠蘭╱綜閤外電報導】日本東芝（Toshiba）前天宣布，將在今年8月下旬推齣雙螢幕迷你筆電Libretto W100。上下麵闆均為7吋背光觸控螢幕，使用者能夠同時處理不同應用軟體或網頁。這款將是全球首款雙7吋觸控寬螢幕、搭載Windows 7係統的UMPC（超迷你行動電腦，Ultra Mobile PC），日本《每日新聞》預估，每台售價約12萬日圓（4.2萬元台幣）。東芝聲稱，Libretto W100擁有體積小巧和掀蓋式外型特點，提供「無可比敵的彈性」。
續航力約2小時
直立時，可當成電子書閱讀機或PDA管理使用；一般橫嚮使用時，使用者可用一麵螢幕處理文件或電子郵件、另一麵螢幕瀏覽網頁，或是利用其一螢幕的虛擬觸感鍵盤（virtual haptic keyboard）輸入資料。Libretto W100重量僅699剋，採用英特爾Pentium U5400 1.2GHz處理器，內鍵2GB DDR3記憶體和62GB SSD固態硬碟，配備Wi-Fi和藍牙功能，電池續航力約2小時。另還會有3G版本，可透過手機上網。
