昨清晨3時20分許，男子劉宏嘉（34歲）駕車直衝高縣鳥鬆鄉中正路夢裏橋段改建工地，撞破第一道安全鐵網後，飛躍近4公尺寬的曹公新圳河溝，撞上一堆近百餘條的鋼筋纔停下（小圖）。現場傳齣轟然巨響，驚動一旁住戶跑齣察看，發現劉男已昏厥在駕駛座上，立即報警求助。
疑疲勞駕駛
消防隊緊急派員到場搶救，發現駕駛臉部有些許鼻血，不久，劉男自己醒來，在隊員攙扶下走齣車外（大圖），目擊民眾見他毫發無傷，直呼：「真是命大！」警方調查，劉男沒有酒駕，研判可能是疲勞駕駛纔直闖工地，所幸劉男僅有頭部外傷、腹部挫傷、腳骨摺。文╱林錫淵 圖╱侯昌騰

商標用瞭17年 賭神幫他贏官司
「賭神幫我打贏官司！」颱南市知名烤玉米業者史本欽，因使用他人的「石頭鄉」商標而挨告遭起訴。史想起十七年前周潤發主演的電影「賭神2」在颱南市南都戲院拍戲時，鏡頭有拍到他的招牌，提齣電影光碟證明他早就使用該商標，結果獲判無罪定讞。
史本欽昨天受訪時錶示，「感謝法院還我公道！」位在颱南市友愛街的南都戲院（現已拆除），廿多年前熱鬧程度可媲美颱北西門町，當時火紅的係列電影「賭神」第二集到南都戲院取景，史當時在南都戲院旁擺攤賣烤玉米，招牌就掛上「石頭鄉」。
