【陳國偉╱台北報導】由東吳大學舉辦的24小時超級馬拉鬆，今日上午9點將於東吳大學外雙溪校區田徑場起跑，包括去年冠軍日本選手關傢良一(Ryoichi Sekiya)，以及去年在女子組打破世界紀錄的日本選手工藤真實(Mami Kudo)都將參加這場年度超馬盛會。

東吳24小時超馬
賽事將連續進行24小時，跑者繞行每圈200公尺田徑場纍積裏程，昨賽前記者會上，總計包括11名外籍選手，和國內超馬菁英全數到齊，目標是希望將目前IAU(International Association of Ultrarunners，國際超馬協會)認證的「銀牌」級賽事，能夠藉由成績提升，而成為世界上第1個「金牌級」的國際超馬賽會。
根據IAU的規定，比賽男子選手成績達到240公裏，或女子選手達到220公裏，2項成績達標的總人數超過5人，就能申請認證為「金牌」級，事實上，去年比賽已有4人達到此項成績，今年大會喊齣「超馬十年，邁嚮金牌」，希望能夠衝破5人門檻！東吳24小時超級馬拉鬆，也是IAU全年超過100場以上的超馬賽事中，2場通過「銀牌」賽事認證之一。
9屆跑逾4萬公裏
第一屆東吳24小時超級馬拉鬆，在1999年開辦，當時是為瞭慶祝東吳百年校慶，大會開賽以來，分彆於2000年和2006年共2度停辦，今年邁入第10屆，過去9屆賽事跑齣的總裏程數超過4萬公裏，剛好可以繞行地球一圈。
