為瞭慶祝聖誕節，北縣消防局昨天中午舉辦大胃王比賽，100多名消防隊員參賽，一路吃炒飯、苦瓜湯以柳丁，三項比賽各取前兩名，晉級的六名消防員可繼續參加「吃很酸的橘子」比賽，吃最多的前三名將獲得頒奬。文˙圖╱呂品逸

水怪現蹤？　英民眾遊湖拍到不明生物傳說中的水怪，在英國再度現形，有目擊者錶示，在英國的文德美湖劃船時，突然發現湖麵上疑似有不明生物現身，而這個不明生物，也以極快的速度，遊過遊客身邊。從目擊遊客拍到的照片，可以看到這個不明生物的背部，有3、4個類似駝峰的突齣物，由於不明生物，是突然齣現在霧氣彌漫的湖麵上，當時在場的人，都以為看到的是一隻狗。但是因為牠的體型，大約是3輛車子長度，加上遊泳速度比狗快，所以目擊者都認為，看到的東西相當不平常，可能就是傳說中的水怪。有人用手機拍.......
