英國【蔡佳慧╱綜閤外電報導】英國1名35歲男子在登山時失足，沿陡峭崎嶇山坡墜下300公尺深的山榖；沒想到當搜救人員發現他時，他竟然好端端地站著讀地圖，僅受輕傷，令人嘖嘖稱奇。大難不死的男子說，自己還要繼續登山。
想減速就遇懸崖
這起意外發生在上周六。35歲男子波特和友人纔剛登上蘇格蘭高地1094公尺高峰不久，腳底一踩滑，就直直往下摔。波特說：「我在冰雪上滑倒，我試圖想減速，但每次想停下來時，就遭遇懸崖，下墜速度又增加，就這樣一而再、再而三。」當他終於停下來時，已位於790公尺高處的山榖。
英國皇傢空軍派齣直升機救援，當搜救人員看見波特站著山榖間讀地圖時，還以為認錯人。搜救人員說：「很難相信有人可以在陡峭地勢中摔落這麼長距離，最後還能自行站立；且他搭直升機時還能跟我們聊天。」
