亞運跆拳金牌得主黃顯詠昨早返迴母校台中西苑高中，受到全校師生如巨星般的包圍歡迎，她感謝傢人一路陪伴，並對相挺的隊友、教練、師長高呼：「很感動，謝謝你們！」教練婁自德分析，黃顯詠活像「金頂電池」，特有活力、積極樂觀天生不畏戰，常常苦練到哭，總是自我要求每個動作細節做到最好，這也是她的奪金關鍵。
希望能在奧運圓夢
黃顯詠錶示，她當天在楊淑君失格爭議後不久上場比賽，原本不知道此事，比賽到一半纔得知，教練耳提麵命「壓力讓大姊姊扛」，隻要全力拼戰就好，更加激發她的鬥誌，當確定獲勝奪金的那一刻，「感覺真的很爽！」楊淑君事件也讓她更確信，一定要提升技術、得分得很明顯，「讓想齣奧步的人沒得拗！」
膚色黝黑的黃顯詠被很多人說長得像奧運金牌選手硃木炎，她認為長相不太像，但很希望像他一樣在國際體壇發光發亮，能在倫敦奧運圓夢。
